See it: 'Happy Gilmore 2' full trailer with Adam Sandler revealed

Nearly 30 years after "Happy Gilmore" won the golf championship and saved his grandmother’s house, Adam Sandler is reprising the role this summer for "Happy Gilmore 2."

Netflix released the "Happy Gilmore 2" trailer this weekend ahead of the movie’s summer release. You can watch the full trailer below. 

Gilmore, the failed and ill-tempered hockey player turned pro golfer, is a dad in the sequel. His on-screen daughter Vienna is played by his real-life daughter, Sunny Sandler.

"Thirty years ago, I decided to give golf a try," Gilmore says in the trailer’s opening. "But even when you’re at the top of your game, you can always shank one."

The trailer shows Gilmore as a dedicated dad whose daughter wants to attend a ballet school that will cost $300,000. Gilmore has to dust off the old irons and get back into the golf mix to fund his daughter’s dream.
